The webinar highlighted that People in Africa have indulged in Gambling for centuries. Nowadays it has become a popular form of entertainment and has strong roots in local cultures. As one could expect, the webinar also focused on diversity, especially in terms of traditions, culture, payment systems, regulatory landscapes, etc. This rightfully creates the demand for localised products in the 54-nation continent.

Technology and internet penetration were also huge points. For instance, in Nigeria, 55 per cent have access to the Internet. More than 90 per cent have mobile phones, which is impressive. It also broke some stereotypes related to high entry costs and regulatory support on the continent. Most importantly, it touched on the needs of international investors and how they can enter this lucrative market.
